Terms & Conditions

Rates:

• All rates are based on double occupancy, with single supplements available upon request.
• All rates are valid during Normal Season. A High Season (Easter, Christmas, and New Year) supplement is applicable.

 

Tour Operation:

• All tours are conducted on a private basis for individuals or groups.
• Most tours can be customized upon request.
• Transportation or accommodation changes (downgrade or upgrade) are available for all packages upon request.
• Property might be changed due to high occupancy seasons or circumstances beyond our control. An alternative will be provided within the same category booked.
• Tours are run on a daily basis with possible itinerary inversion to sync with Nile Cruise sailing dates.
• Tours are operated in English; guides speaking different languages can be requested 48 hours in advance.

 

Nile Cruise Operation:

• The order of your itinerary may have to be amended due to Nile River lock closures, low water levels, or other unforeseeable circumstances. Your listed sightseeing remains our obligation.
• Occasionally, due to operational difficulties, a change of vessel may occur; however, the sightseeing itinerary will remain unchanged.
• The Abu Simbel Tour requires an early rise and departure. Your sightseeing included on the same day can still be conducted; otherwise, it will be shifted to the following day.
• Due to the increasing number of boats on the Nile, at some docking points, boats are moored side by side, obstructing the view from cabins.
• Traditionally, a tip is expected at the rate of USD 2.00 per person per night. This includes coach drivers, bellboys, housekeeping staff, crew, bar/restaurant staff, and all off-boat tipping.

 

Optional Sightseeing Tours:

• Our packages may contain suggestions for activities during your leisure time.
• These optional tours can be purchased pre-arrival or will be available for purchase locally based on availability. Some optional tours require a minimum number of participants and may not be operated; in such cases, the tour company will attempt to notify you locally, and you will receive a full refund.

 

Accommodations:

• All rooms are standard (two single beds/king-size bed), unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category.
• Special requests such as room view, bed types, smoking preference, and connecting rooms are subject to availability.
• Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds or one double bed plus a sofa/folding bed for the third person.

 

Check-in/Check-out:

• Normal check-in time at hotels is 2:00 PM, and check-out is 12:00 PM. For Egypt Nile cruises, check-in time will be before lunch, and check-out is at 8:00 AM. If your check-in/check-out time at your hotel/Nile Cruise Ship does not coincide with your flight times, an extra charge will be added for the hotel/Nile cruise, depending on your arrival time.

 

Special Needs Travelers:

• Most of our tours require a moderate to high level of walking. It is important to advise us of any particular needs prior to booking to determine if the tour is suitable for you.
• Please note that accessibility services and amenities differ from one country to another. Therefore, we cannot guarantee availability or access but will do our best to accommodate your needs.
• Pregnant women should consult their doctor prior to booking and review the intended destination and itinerary.

 

Passport and Visas:

• The exact name as it appears on your passport will be needed.
• You need a valid passport to take any of our packages. The passport must be valid for six months post your return date and have at least one blank page.
• It is your responsibility to obtain the required visas and other immigration travel documents for the country you are visiting.
• Entry visa fee is to be paid in cash per person upon arrival.

 

Deposit/Payment:

• Individual Travelers:
  • A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve the tour.
  • 50% of tour cost is due 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Full payment is due 48 hours prior to arrival by wire transfer or in cash upon arrival
• Last Minute Bookings:
  • Please contact us, and our consultant will assist you regarding booking and payment procedure.

 

Booking Confirmation:

• Your booking will be confirmed via email.
• Your booking confirmation will include a day-by-day itinerary, reservation number, and invoice.

 

Changes and Cancellation:

• Cancellation:
  • Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted via email, including your reservation number, full name, and date of travel. If you do not receive an acknowledgment within 48 hours, call us to ensure your information was received.
  • Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date the written cancellation is received and are as follow:
