Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to begin your journey through the treasures of the ancient city of Thebes.
Start on the West Bank, exploring the magnificent Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of Egypt’s New Kingdom rulers. Here you will see the tombs of legendary pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, and Merenptah, carved deep into the limestone cliffs.
Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari, an architectural marvel built for Egypt’s most successful female ruler. Stop to admire the Colossi of Memnon, two imposing statues that have stood for over 3,000 years.
Cross to the East Bank and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the monumental Karnak Temples, the largest religious complex ever built, dedicated to the Theban gods Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. End your day at the elegant Luxor Temple, constructed by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II, once connected to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes.
After your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor in comfort.
