Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and begin the day at Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt, founded by King Menes. Explore its open-air museum, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx.
Continue to Saqqara to visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure, built during the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC).
Afterwards, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Dahshur, famous for its two remarkable pyramids — the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid — both built during the reign of King Sneferu.
